Why attend the webinar
Many companies have been using ProCAST and QuikCAST for years with results that appear consistent and repeatable. However, working with outdated versions can introduce limitations that are not immediately visible, especially in the simulation of filling and solidification phases, where physical and numerical models have undergone significant advancements.
During the webinar, concrete simulation examples will be presented and discussed, comparing:
- results obtained with previous versions of ProCAST and QuikCAST
- results obtained with ProCAST and QuikCAST 2026, using the same input data
These examples will highlight:
- differences in filling and solidification predictions
- changes in how results are read and interpreted
- practical implications for process decisions and defect prevention
Speakers: the technical team of Ecotre Valente
The webinar will be led by Dr. Eng. Fabio Scaravelli, who is responsible for advanced technical support and the industrial application of ProCAST and QuikCAST. He works closely with companies and engineering teams on the simulation of filling and solidification processes, as well as on the interpretation of results to support informed process decisions.
