A new training event by BAccademy, organised in collaboration with ECOTRE Valente, Bonomi Acciai, Bodycote, and featuring a first-hand contribution from FAR. The seminar will focus on technological advances in the design and maintenance of moulds, with a specific emphasis on vacuum brazing as a tool to enhance the performance and lifespan of die-casting and moulding tools.
The event will take place on Wednesday morning, 24 September, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The seminar is designed to give participants a clear, practical technical overview of vacuum brazing as a tool for optimising die-casting and moulding tools, highlighting its benefits, real-life case studies, and operational methods. In particular, the seminar is aimed at:

Technical Contribution by ECOTRE
Among the speakers will be Eng. Lorenzo Valente, CEO of Ecotre, who will present a session dedicated to Mould Thermal Management using ProCAST software for die-casting processes. The digital tool ProCAST will demonstrate how vacuum brazing represents a flexible and effective technology for advanced mould thermal design.
Thanks to improved Mould Thermal Management, enabled by the design freedom provided by vacuum brazing, it is possible to increase both productivity and mould lifespan.
During the session, practical case studies will be presented showing how ProCAST software and Ecotre’s innovative approach to digitalising mould thermal management have helped optimise complex moulding cycles. This contribution illustrates how technological innovation can become a strategic tool to enhance company competitiveness.
