The EICF is the Federation of European Investment Foundries and Suppliers to the Industry. The Federation’s objectives are to publicise the advantages of the Investment Casting as a precision manufacturing process and to improve the process capability through the sponsorship of research and development.
The EICF organises technical and commercial conferences as major fora for the exchange and dissemination of information and for social intercourse amongst delegates and guests. Customers are particularly welcome at these events.
For the practising engineer, the EICF arranges technical workshops for both training purposes and for the dissemination of the technical advances in the industry.
Proceedings of conferences and workshops are available through the secretarial office at discount prices for members.
The EICF works closely with the Cast Metals Federation and shares many workshop and research activities with CMF members.
Federation and members’ news is published every 3 months in the Foundry Trade Journal. Detailed news from the foundry industry including current metal prices can be found on the Foundry Trade Journal website.
